This article is about risks when buying a car on the Internet.

More and more television reports tell about the machinations of stolen car dealers.

These associations that operate from all around the world follow always the same pattern.

They use fictitious offers in the large and well-known car-sale portals on the internet. For example Mobile.de and Autoscout24.de.

Parrallel to these actions they publish websites with fictional content. On these websites you can find information on freight companies, owners of the cars, and trustees. Few people know that these information are fictitious.

Once a potential buyer has chosen a car the "owner" often asks for a prepayment because the cars eventually have to be shipped from abroad and that costs money that the buyer has to pay beforehand - if needed even by raising a credit.

Who gets involved in this often never sees his money again. It ends up on foreign accounts and it is even for the authorities difficult to deal with these problems and track back the criminal actions.

So be always cautious!
Be always suspicious if your cars are sold below list price. Always remember that no one has to give away anything and certainly no credit!

Look at recommendations or responses of other customers and you are on the safe side.
